About You
- Qualified in Disability, Community Services or Mental Health, or equivalent relevant experience – experience in personal care, manual handling or AIN would be highly regarded
- You have a valid NSW Drivers C class licence and use of own car
- You have a mobile phone you are comfortable using for work
- An understanding of NDIS services and programs is helpful (though not essential)
- You are punctual with a friendly nature and want to help make a positive impact on the lives of residents within the community
The Day to Day
As a Support Worker, you will be meeting the daily care needs of a resident within a residents home and will be invested in providing a person-centered approach, high-quality care, and ensuring that resident are supported in achieving their goals. Tasks may include but are not limited to: Tasks may include but are not limited to:
- Personal care, manual handling and medication administration
- Meal preparation
- Accompanying to appointments and adhering to specialist plans
