Support/Youth Worker – Sunshine Coast The Co-Group Limited

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Support/Youth Worker you will be required to care for our Child Safety participants on the Sunshine Coast ranging from some physical needs to mental health & challenging behaviours, this includes assisting with daily living which could involve domestic and community assistance.

 

About You:

  • Experience within challenging behaviours, ASD & ADHD, verbal & physical aggression, intellectual impairment, redirection & de-escalation techniques.
  • A valid Drivers Licence (P2 or above) and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Knowledge and/or experience following positive behaviour support plans
  • Clear communication skills
  • Be resilient and adaptable
  • NDIS Worker Check 
  • HLTAID003 (or equivalent) First Aid Certificate
  • Blue Card
  • Committed to providing exceptional quality care to clients
  • Must be available morning, afternoon & evening

  • Salary packaging (up to $15,900 a year, + meal/entertainment benefit $2650 a year)
