As Support/Youth Worker you will be required to care for our Child Safety participants on the Sunshine Coast ranging from some physical needs to mental health & challenging behaviours, this includes assisting with daily living which could involve domestic and community assistance.
About You:
- Experience within challenging behaviours, ASD & ADHD, verbal & physical aggression, intellectual impairment, redirection & de-escalation techniques.
- A valid Drivers Licence (P2 or above) and access to a reliable vehicle
- Knowledge and/or experience following positive behaviour support plans
- Clear communication skills
- Be resilient and adaptable
- NDIS Worker Check
- HLTAID003 (or equivalent) First Aid Certificate
- Blue Card
- Committed to providing exceptional quality care to clients
- Must be available morning, afternoon & evening
