About Take Two
Take Two is a state-wide service providing high quality therapeutic services to children and young people who have suffered significant abuse, neglect or disrupted attachment and are clients of Child Protection. We work with the traumatised child, and with their caregivers, families and communities. We help them understand the child’s trauma, and how it’s impacting their development and behaviours.
Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Clinician you will be involved in all aspects of the clinical work while being supported and mentored from your team, this includes:
- Participating in therapeutic assessments
- Assisting in the development of and implementation of therapeutic interventions
- Actively participating in the Care Teams established around each client
- Assisting in the development of quality assurance and quality improvement frameworks for clinical service delivery
- Contributing to the research and training components of the Take Two programme
About You
We are seeking a Graduate who has recently completed a minimum Bachelor level degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline. This role would suit a “go getter” who is eager to learn and develop their clinical skills, but also who has a desire to learn more about the impacts of trauma on the child, young people and families and the social, emotional and developmental issues around this. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate a base understanding of the complexities of the service system, and possess some knowledge and understanding of clinical assessments and treatment.
