JOB DESCRIPTION

Your New Role

Responsible for delivering end-to-end talent acquisition campaigns, you will be focused on attraction, assessment, and appointment for executive and mission critical roles across the University. Consulting, enabling, and supporting Hiring Managers on a range of operational and procedural talent acquisition matters will enable you to deliver best practice campaign strategies.  Talent pooling, search, selection, and assessment outcomes will be delivered through a contemporary best practice approach, tailor-made to suit the requirements of each vacancy. Working in partnership with Stakeholders and Hiring Managers, you will ensure alignment and consistency in the delivery of talent acquisition, as well as support the delivery of ongoing people plans. The Talent Acquisition Partner also plays a critical role in ensuring our diversity and inclusion sourcing efforts serve as a pipeline of high potential talent into the University.

What you’ll need to succeed

As a highly experienced and trusted Talent Acquisition Partner who is outcome driven, you will bring to the role demonstrated expertise working directly with Hiring Managers in large and/or complex organisations, ideally with experience in the higher education sector or similar. With capacity to utilise contemporary candidate search techniques, talent pooling and selection assessment methodologies, you will help us to drive strong focus on people and deliver continuous improvement in processes and systems. Proven negotiation, influencing and creative problem-solving abilities will enable us to deliver successful outcomes. Well-developed judgment, initiative, and decision-making skills will be highly regarded and lead to effectively liaising with managers and executives at all levels. As a Partner, you will complement the team, enable us to focus on opportunity and when required, act in a 2IC capacity.
