JOB DESCRIPTION

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Faculty/Department of Community & Social Inclusion at Holmesglen provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links. The department is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively design and teach theoretical and practical sessions, to students in Family Violence and Counselling.

Salary: $82.01 p/h – $88.60 p/h + 11% superannuation
Location: Moorabbin Campus
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Casual

ABOUT YOU

To be successful you will possess the following:

  • Relevant industry qualification and relevant/current industry experience, this may include: relevant higher study in psychology, counselling, mental health, alcohol and other drugs or social work and family violence, experience as a counsellor, psychologist or social worker
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) ; or
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units; or
  • Higher level qualification which includes specific study in adult and vocational education
