THE OPPORTUNITY
Bring your current industry experience and knowledge in Community Services and join our vibrant team of Teachers in these exciting casual opportunities based across our Sydney and Western Sydney regions.   

TAFE Teachers are professional educators who help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The successful candidates in this role will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their best outcomes.

ABOUT YOU
You are a passionate and engaged individual who holds relevant qualifications and experience in Community Services and adult education. You have current industry expertise in delivering quality care and case management to support unit content including child protection, juvenile justice, mental health, domestic violence, disability, alcohol, and other drugs. You have the gift of the gab, with demonstrated experience in establishing relationships with and providing exceptional customer service to diverse individuals. You pride yourself on your exceptional communication skills and your ability to facilitate adult learning. Crucially, you are someone who shares the TAFE NSW Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence and Customer First.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role you need to meet the following essential requirements:
•    Vocational qualifications in Community Services or equivalent (Diploma or above; Bachelor desirable)
•    Minimum three years post-qualification experience in the Community Services industry, gained no longer than five years ago (three years desirable) 
•    Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent and a commitment to maintaining competency. 
•    Commitment to maintaining and developing technical currency + VET knowledge and skills.

Desirable:
•    Class C Driver’s Licence as successful candidates may be required to travel across campus locations throughout the region as per business requirements.
