Centrecare is a not for profit organisation with just over 375 employees and is committed to delivering quality professional counselling, support, accommodation, mediation, and training services: in over 11 locations across the Perth Metro, Goldfields and Bunbury region.

About the Service

Our Bunbury Office offers 4 main programs in family support services, housing, intensive family support and specalised family violence. These services are delivered outreach and in house throughout the Southwest Region. We are currently looking for a Team Leader to support the daily running of the office and management of the staff.

About the Role

  • Supporting staff with their caseload of clients, this may include getting involved in the clients case.
  • Having a small case load of your own clients whom you will work with on an outreach basis.
  • Manage the day to day running of the Bunbury office, this is a shared space so you will need to act as the ‘office manager’ if their are issues with the building.
  • Reporting to the Executive Manager who is based in Perth, management will visit the office on a monthly basis.
  • Provide management supervision to the staff.
  • Become involved in the local community to promote the services Centrecare offers.
  • Reporting, reviewing statistics, contribute to management board reports.

Selection Criteria – full criteria can be accessed on the website and needs to be addressed at application stage.

  • Recognised tertiary level qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Counselling and/or related disciplines
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with other organisations to achieve positive community outcomes
  • Ability to live and work within the local community
