The Rosewood Centre are seeking a Team Leader/Psychologist. This is a Permanent Full or Part Time position based in the Hunter (Maitland or Hamilton).
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Registered or Clinical Psychologist to provide clinical supervision and leadership to a team of Psychologists across the Hunter region. This is a clinical not an operational leadership role, which ideally places you to support the team without the usual constraints of operational management responsibilities.
About you
- You are a Registered or Clinical Psychologist
- You are an AHPRA Board Approved supervisor
- You have strong therapeutic and assessment skills (Complex trauma and ASD experience highly desired)
- You are passionate about providing the best possible clinical care to clients regardless of their socioeconomic status
- You have proven supervisory experience, where you feel confident in supporting Psychologists across a range of skill levels, to grow and thrive in their role
Your duties will include
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship support to Provisional, Registered and Clinical Psychologists across the Hunter region (in partnership with the Mid-Coast Team Leader and Rosewood Centre Manager), in individual and group supervision
- Support the manager in responding to the needs of organisations under EAP, including occasional on-site services, such as workshops and debriefing sessions
- Undertake clinical services directly to maintain your technical and professional skills
- Network and develop relationships with key customers
- Demonstrate commitment to providing exceptional services and outcomes for our clients and partners
Experience/Criteria
- Previous leadership experience in a medical, psychology or counselling service or experience closely aligned to the same
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding in the area of Business acumen
- Demonstrated ability to support a diverse team across multiple sites in a way that empowers staff and creates a culture that fosters learning, hope and curiosity
- Experience in working within budgetary constraints
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining positive and productive relationships with managers, staff, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in planning, leading and managing projects, initiatives and research
- Effective problem solving skills with a solution-focussed approach
- The ability to create and manage relationships & partnerships with GPs and allied health professionals
- Sound understanding of mental health and disability standards and the associated legislation
- Previous experience using practice management software such as FrontDesk
- Experience in considering IT solutions to clinical business problems
Qualifications
- Registered or Clinical Psychologist
- AHPRA Registration
- Current NSW Driver License
- Current paid NSW WWCC
- Psychology Board Approved Supervisor, or eligibility and willingness to complete the accreditation process (Desirable)
