Your role:
As the Lead Practitioner it is your role to liaise with DFFH, monitor risk and safety plans and identify performance trends and areas for improvement for a team of 3 FFT-CW Practitioners.
FFT-CW is an intensive family and community-based intervention focused on supporting children, young people and their families aged 0-18 years. FFT-CW uses a short-term intervention approach with an average of 12 to 20 sessions, over three to five months. FFT-CW aims to keep families together, potentially preventing children and young people from entering out-of-home care. The intervention involves a strong cognitive behavioural component integrated into systemic skill-training in family communication, parenting skills, conflict management skills and numerous other skills linked to a variety of referral problems.

Who we are looking for:
- A practitioner who has previously lead teams or provided secondary case consults
- Ability to reflect on practice and spot gaps in service delivery
- Provide coaching and feedback
- Previous experience in a therapeutic environment ideally utilising recognised therapy practices such as motivational interviewing
- Knowledge and experience working with families with complex needs, mental health, AOD, family violence
- Willingness to work outside of normal hours to see families together and at home
- Ability to engage quickly and assess risk
Qualifications:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology and/or related behavioural sciences at degree level with relevant experience; or diploma level with substantial experience
