About the service
Wunya is a 20-bed recovery centre delivering a comprehensive, residential rehabilitation treatment program for people experiencing problems with alcohol and drugs. Situated in Caboolture, a 40-minute drive from Brisbane CBD (against the traffic!) Or even closer if you live on the North side of Brisbane. There is plenty of free on-site parking.
About the role
This is an ongoing full time position, working from Wunya Residential Centre in Caboolture. You will lead a team of passionate and professional clinicals and support staff, and provide clinical and operational management of Wunya.
- Lead the team in providing treatment and recovery services
- Provide day to day clinical oversight of program delivery and client wellbeing
- Lead the clinical review of individual/group treatment
- Provide expert AOD practice advice and secondary consultation to the team
About you
We are looking for a passionate, people focussed leader to lead a professional and dedicated team. Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager, the Team Leader will be responsible for providing clinical and operational management to the professional and tight knit team at Wunya.
The Team Leader will also support the development and delivery of evidence-based individual and group therapeutic interventions. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and delivery of the clinical practice at Wunya.
You will also demonstrate the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or allied health (or similar field)
- Minimum five years experience working in a residential rehabilitation or related service delivery setting
- Strong experience providing leadership and mentoring to a multi-disciplinary team.
- Contemporary knowledge and application of evidence-based individual and group interventions and clinical practice in drug and alcohol treatment and recovery
- Significant experience working with clients with complex needs, AOD dependencies and/or mental health
The base salary range for this role is $96,962.32 to $101,250.24 per annum dependent on skills, qualifications and experience
