Therapeutic Practitioner – Safe, Thriving & Connected Program 

Supporting women and children affected by family violence 

0.5 EFT/35 hours per fortnight

We currently have a part-time, fixed-term until June 2025, opportunity for a passionate Therapeutic Practitioner to join the Safe, Thriving & Connected Program at Annie North Inc.  As a Therapeutic Practitioner you will deliver a range of trauma informed, evidence based flexible individual and group interventions for children, young people and adults who have experienced family violence.

Annie North works within a feminist framework to provide supported accommodation to women and children escaping domestic and family violence. Annie North is a Specialist Family Violence service which prioritises both ongoing safety and recovery from family violence.

Safe, Thriving & Connected has been developed and is delivered by the Loddon Gender Equality and Violence Prevention Consortium (the Consortium), who have a long history in working in partnership and are experienced service providers in the delivery of integrated and coordinated specialist family violence services and system responses across the Loddon area.

This position is based in Bendigo with some travel required. Hours are 0.5 EFT and tenure is aligned with the funding grant.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree level or higher qualification in a Health or Social Sciences related field such as Psychology, Social Work, Family Therapy, Counselling or related discipline.
