Casual Group Facilitator

 Ramsay Clinic Wentworthville is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated 
Therapist/Counsellor/Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Therapist, Counsellor, Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to assist in the running of the inpatient and outpatient group programs.   

This job will suit someone with mental health experience working eating disorders, drug and alcohol and general mental health.  There are many opportunities for work across a range of group programs including inpatient and outpatient psychology-based groups and experiential group cover such as arts and crafts groups. This is a casual position, and we are looking for someone who has availability and flexibility within their schedule to cover sick leave and annual leave, and when requested by the Allied Health department.  

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a motivated, energetic and flexible team player with a high degree of professionalism. You will have excellent clinical and communication skills and strive to have a positive impact on the wellbeing of our patients. You will have experience in a group therapy facilitation role.

You will also bring:

  • Relevant registration with AHPRA, PACFA, ACA and AASW
  • Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills
  • High level time management, organisational skills and computer literacy
  • Excellent customer service skills and be able to work autonomously
  • Experience with Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy as well as other therapeutic modalities
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating therapeutic groups
  • Experience with eating disorders, drug and alcohol and general mental health
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work independently whilst also being able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Is a great allrounder who enjoys the flexibility and variety of casual work
