Stanley College is an independent Institute of Higher Education and Registered Training Organisation. We have provided training to local and international students for over 15 years.
We specialise in courses that address current skills shortages for several industries: ELICOS, Information & Communication Technology, Hospitality, Commercial Cookery, Community Services, Aged Care, Childhood Education & Care, Digital Marketing, Business, Leadership & Management.
Stanley College has 4 campuses, 3 based in Perth and 1 in Adelaide. We employ over 200 staff and have almost 3000 students from over 60 countries.
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Trainer & Assessor – Community Services to join our friendly team at our West Perth Campus
The ideal candidate will be supporting the Training and Assessment of Community Services department on a Part -Time basis. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of permanency.
The main responsibilities of this role are as follows:
• Ensuring courses delivery and assessments are in line with the range of requirements (internal and external)
• Ensuring Trainers comply with industry-specific legislations and the requirements of the VET Quality Framework
• Ensuring that all training and delivery material is valid and reliable and complies with VET Quality Framework and industry-specific legislation.
• Participating in the validation processes of Stanley College
• Providing high-quality training and having an in-depth understanding of the RTO Standards 2015.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
• Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (preferably TAE40116)
• Relevant community work, social welfare, human services, social work or the like qualifications (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor or higher in Community Services/Social work/Counselling)
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Community Services.
• Extensive training experience in the vocational education sector.
