About the position:

Our dynamic and supportive team is seeking a talented Trauma Therapist to join us in delivering exceptional mental health services to our clients. At our organisation, you’ll have the chance to focus on what you do best – providing compassionate and evidence-based therapy to help clients overcome their challenges and live fulfilling lives. We require an experienced and skilled psychologist, accredited mental health social worker, or accredited clinical counsellor well-versed in delivering evidence-based trauma interventions for adolescents and adults alike. This role allows for the advantages of both a salaried employment model and flexible work hours, accommodating options such as school hours, evenings, or weekends to suit your schedule.

The role involves conducting thorough clinical assessments, developing personalised treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies to individuals, couples, and families. You will actively collaborate with fellow clinical team members to ensure clients receive holistic and tailored care.

About You: 

  • Registered psychologist, accredited mental health social worker or full clinical member of the psychotherapy and counselling federation of Australia.
  • Eligible for Medicare registration.
  • Experience in working with individuals who have experienced trauma.  
  • Experience in trauma therapies such as EMDR, schema or parts-based therapies such as IFS or structural dissociation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional indemnity insurance.
  • Great organisation and time management skills.
