Nabenet is a leading Occupational Rehabilitation Provider in Victoria. We’re an independent Australian-owned company and an approved provider for WorkSafe Victoria and Comcare. Nabenet specialises in the management of workplace injuries with a focus on early intervention.

About the role

  • You will be based in one of Nabenet’s satellite offices along with our Hawthorn head office for ongoing training and development.
  • Provide job placement services within the WorkSafe scheme. Assisting injured clients to return to work with new employers.
  • Actively market the skills and aptitudes of individual job seekers to meet the employment needs and skill demands of employers.
  • Use your communication skills to liaise with a variety of stakeholders, including insurance companies, medical practitioners, employers, and employees.

Other requirements

  • Have a thorough understanding of the labour market and ensure vocational options identified are appropriate and in line with the transferrable skills of clients.
  • Contact employers to enquire about potential jobs and marketing the WorkSafe Incentive Scheme for Employers to organisations.
  • Complete vocational assessments and capacity support services (CSS) within compensable schemes such as Worksafe and be able to identify retraining needs for clients where appropriate.
  • Engage and motivate injured clients, encouraging and assisting them to return to work.
  • Be in a fast-paced environment, driven by the company values of quality, customer service, outcomes, and teamwork.

To be successful

  • You’ll have excellent writing skills and experience writing reports.
  • You’re able to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • You’re a confident communicator and are comfortable liaising with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel to satellite offices and Hawthorn (head office)

Your experience

  • You’ll have knowledge and understanding of Workers’ Compensation and injury management.
  • Ideally, you’ll be a registered Psychologist (AHPRA accredited), registered Rehabilitation Counsellor (ASORC accredited), Osteopath, or Social Worker OR have significant experience in Occupational Rehabilitation or Job Placement Services.
  • Experience within employment services and/or recruitment will be highly regarded
