Salary: Social Worker $67,442.00 – $97,709.00, Occupational Therapist $67,442.00 – $97,709.00, Psychologist $71,240.00 – $105,895.00, Registered Nurse $67,735.32 – $94,568.44 pro-rata base per annum

Department Name: Community Mental Health Rehabilitation Team

Position Summary:
The community mental health rehabilitation team provides a voluntary, Trauma Informed, Recovery Orientated service. This Multidisciplinary team provides mental health, medical and psychosocial support based on individuals’ needs by specialised, goal focused support for people to move forward with their life and their recovery, and in particular with their vocational goals.

The team also provides a late onset of psychosis service (LOPS) providing support for people who are over 25 and experiencing their first episode of psychosis. This service involves providing comprehensive assessment, medical treatment, counselling and education for consumers and their families.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Mission and Values of the Sisters of Charity and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Current registration with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers
3. Unrestricted NSW Driver’s License
4. Ability to work collaboratively with consumers within a recovery framework
5. Demonstrated Extensive experience working within a multidisciplinary team in an inpatient or community mental health service
6. Experience in mental health clinical and vocational rehabilitation with knowledge of best practice mental health rehabilitation principles; current models of practice; and ability to plan, implement and evaluate clinical and vocational individual and group rehabilitation programs.
7. Experience working in collaboration with non-government organisations and community groups
8. Experience and commitment to working with clients experiencing complex needs, including homelessness, drug and alcohol use and forensic issues
