JOB DESCRIPTION

Enough Is Enough Anti Violence Movement Inc. is a small psychology practice located in the Sutherland Shire, NSW operating from comfortable, secure rooms and providing face to face and Telehealth services.

We are dedicated to providing professional psychological assessment and treatment with our unique experience working with people in crisis to bring about healing, hope and growth for all members in our community.

We have experienced exponential growth over the past year and are seeking a psychologist or mental health social worker to join us on a part-time with the capacity to increase over time if desired or full time employee or contractor.

The role will involve providing assessment, intervention/treatment to clients with various presentations. We offer administration support, peer supervision and a collegial work environment.

 

 Essential Criteria:

  • Full registration as a psychologist with AHPRA or full membership of AASW or PACFA;
  • Eligibility to obtain Medicare provider number (depending on profession);
  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Check;
  • Flexible work hours;
  • Current professional indemnity insurance;
  • Demonstrated experience in assessment and treatment/counselling;
  • Enthusiastic, passionate, client-centred psychologist/social worker with strong work ethic;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously;

 

Desirable Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience working with victims and offenders and their families to support a range of emotional and social issues advantageous;
  • Trauma informed practice and intervention training and/or experience
