Join Our Team as a Wellbeing and Inclusion Support Early Childhood Teacher

At Exceed Early Education and Care, we recognise the power of inclusive education. We’re seeking an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) who is not just passionate about teaching but is deeply committed to nurturing the wellbeing and inclusion of every child.

Your Role with Us:

  • Design Inclusive Curriculum: Design a curriculum that understands and addresses individual needs, always championing inclusion and overall wellbeing.
  • Cultivate Safe Spaces: Foster a learning environment that is both emotionally supportive and safe.
  • Collaborate & Support: Act as the bridge between children, families, and our team, focusing on discerning and addressing diverse needs of our children.
  • Individualised Plans: Craft unique plans for children requiring additional support.
  • Nurture Emotional Intelligence: Spearhead programs that underline social-emotional learning, resilience, and affirmative behaviour.
  • Monitor & Document: Regularly observe, assess, and document each child’s journey of progress.
  • Engage Externally: Work alongside external support services and agencies when necessary.
  • Stay Updated: Dive into continuous professional learning, always staying abreast of the best inclusive educational practices.
  • Uphold Excellence: Always adhere to the stringent standards, policies, and regulations of early childhood education and care.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or its equivalent.
  • Active Teacher Accreditation/Registration.
  • Hands-on experience as an ECT, preferably with a keen focus on inclusion and wellbeing.
  • A profound understanding of child development and the nuances of inclusive education.
  • Stellar communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • The knack to work seamlessly within a team, fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.
  • Current First Aid certification and a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
