Wellbeing Lead Family of League

JOB DESCRIPTION

Wellbeing Lead

Do you enjoy helping others? Do you have a love for sport? We are seeking an experienced Wellbeing Lead to support our volunteers and members in our not for profit organisation at Sydney Olympic Park. The position will suit someone with an interest in the not for profit sector and an enthusiasm for rugby league, and ideally you will have similar social working experience in other community support organisations.

The Family of League (originally the Men of League Foundation) was established in 2002 and has proudly been supporting the men, women and children of the rugby league community throughout Australia, who have fallen on difficult times. Family of League is a registered Charity providing emotional, financial and physical support to those in need through its network of volunteers across NSW, Queensland, ACT and Victoria. This role will be based in Sydney and work closely with the National Wellbeing Manager to establish and maintain referral networks throughout the grassroots, State and National rugby league community, and to raise awareness about the support available to those in need.  The Wellbeing Lead supports and develops our community-based Wellbeing volunteers to ensure that all grant applications meet our charitable obligations and requirements, and that we maintain strong connections with our local rugby league communities.  Your ability to foster effective relationships with other welfare and community support organisations, as well as the rugby league parents and families will be of enormous benefit to the role.

Please send a cover letter and your cv to [email protected] by COB on Friday 27th October 2023.
