Salary Package: From $99,739 – $108,139 (HEW Level 7), plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading

The Role
You will coordinate and support service delivery across Student Wellbeing service areas (Accessibility, Psych-social assessment and intervention services, Case management and Safety support services). In particular the role is responsible for the effective coordination of administration and reception service staff, who respond to high volumes of contacts about Student Wellbeing services.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and support service critical systems and administrative functions, including IT systems for contact handling, appointments, and clinical record keeping
- Support purchasing and other financial processes
- Coordinate system implementation for ad hoc projects related to student support services, including service evaluation; analysis of data related to student contacts.
- Partner with senior clinical staff to facilitate, implement and evaluate an evidence-based service delivery model in line with the Student Success Strategic Framework
- Coordinate training / performance development / coaching/ rostering of administration, reception and intake staff, with the aim of providing excellent customer experience
- Ensure intake team provide appropriate care, screening and basic risk assessment for students presenting to Student Wellbeing, with the aim of connecting students to appropriate support effectively and efficiently.
- Act as the relationship manager and primary point of contact with third party agencies involved in intake processes (e.g. out-of-hours care, online Wellbeing service providers) and support regular evaluation of the service delivery partnership.
- Identify, and report on potential risks in line with professional and University policies, including reporting intentions of harm to self/others; and/or those reporting first symptoms of psychosis; and/or matters reported in relation to sexual assault/sexual harassment
- Assist to coordinate referrals of at-risk students by liaising with external health providers (e.g. Emergency Services, General Practitioners).
About You
You have a degree qualifications in psychology, or an equivalent mental health related degree, and experience in supporting service delivery.
If you have experience coordinating and evaluating service delivery in a mental health context, it will be highly beneficial towards exceling in this role. You have the skills and capacity to manage a team effectively. You have an interest in building a quality service by identifying service system needs and solutions. Knowledge of how IT systems can be used to support psycho-social service delivery will be a desirable quality for this role.

Selection Criteria
- Experience managing, analysing and reporting on data and complex business processes.
- Knowledge of the Australian higher education system.
- Expert knowledge of student wellbeing projects and programs.
- Providing support to clients with psychological needs, including those with mental health diagnoses and exposed to trauma.
- Service co-ordination and working with health practitioners.
- Identifying, referring and reporting on individuals or groups at risk.
- Knowledge and understanding of student wellbeing, student safety, equity and inclusion issues in the higher education sector
Desirable – With demonstrated experience supporting service delivery of psycho-social support
- Three year degree with major study in Psychology; and a Psychology fourth year APAC accredited sequence in psychology; or a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in counselling / psychotherapy / social work which includes supervised clinical experience.
