 About the opportunity 

The role focuses on service delivery as part of the Customer Growth Team.  The Workplace Mental Health and Wellbeing Advisor helps provide a consistent voice of mental health expertise that guides our commercial engagements and advisory. It will lean on SuperFriend’s Preferred Provider Network for the recommendation of customer interventions, training and coaching, and the management of this network is also a key part of this role.  

Internally, the role provides mental health expertise across the organisation, influencing the ongoing development of the Indicators of a Thriving Workplace (ITW) integrated solution, innovation and strategy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Workplace and stakeholder engagement, service delivery, and advisory
  • Continuous development and enhancement of recommendations flowing from our diagnostic tools, in addition to that offered as stand-alone advice
  • Contribution to the build and/or review of relevant SuperFriend’s assessments, tools and processes
  • Management of our Preferred Provider network and intimate knowledge of the interventions they offer 

Some interstate travel will be required to meet and/or present to partners/customers. Our staff are largely Melbourne based with a small cohort working remotely in Sydney. Sydney based employees are also flown to Melbourne once a month to support team cohesion.

Key requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in psychology, organisational psychology, or other appropriate discipline. Relevant post-graduate study is highly desirable 
  • Extensive subject matter expertise in workplace mental health, work health and safety, and positive workplace practices and policies, including current and emerging evidence 
  • Previous experience as a lead consultant delivering business transformation, organisation development or workplace mental health development 
  • Strong research interpretation and project management skills, commercial acumen and ability to think creatively and solve problems and enhance systems and processes 
  • Organised, structured and can manage multiple partner/customer deliverables with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team 
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and representational skills
