About Us

Women’s Health and Wellbeing Services is a not-for-profit community organisation supporting all women and families within the South East Metro area of Perth. We promote the overall wellbeing, self-esteem, independence, self-responsibility and health awareness to all women and families in our community by offering a diverse range of services for women of all ages and lifestyles. We specialise in health issues including mental health, physical and emotional wellbeing and social activities within a non- discriminatory and holistic framework.

Salary: $65,000 + Super Pro Rata(please note, salary sacrifice is available).

GWHS are seeking and experienced workshop facilitator to present to a range of audiences under the different sister organisations (Women’s Health and Wellbeing, Hidden World of You and Elevate Wellbeing)

Audiences include vulnerable and disadvantaged women, community groups and professionals

Workshops will include a range of topics, will be one off or on going groups and will be both in person, online and recorded

Key responsibilities

The role would involve, but is not limited to:

  • Writing, developing and presenting mental and emotional wellbeing workshops and groups
  • Presenting in person
  • Online
  • Recording

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualification in social sciences
  • Experience writing, delivering and evaluating groups and workshops
  • highly skilled presenter and great at public speaking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • National Police Clearance no older than 6 months
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Working with Children Check
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
  • Highly organised and self-managed, including a demonstrated capacity to establish work priorities, meet timelines and achieve priorities in the most efficient way
  • Willingness to work outside of normal office hours during events
  • Experience in mental and emotional wellbeing

​Desirable

  • Knowledge and experience in front of a camera
  • Experience in virtual and hybrid events an advantage
