- Full-time (1.0 FTE) – 75 hours per fortnight
- Located in Port Augusta
headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12‑25 year old’s, along with assistance in promoting young peoples’ wellbeing. This covers four core areas: mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services.
About the role:
- We offer this exciting opportunity to join our team at headspace Port Augusta.
- The headspace Youth Access Clinician will respond in a timely and effective manner to requests for headspace Port Augusta services by conducting psychosocial assessments including risk assessments and formulating case plans in collaboration with the young person.
- The headspace Youth Access Clinician will provide advocacy, care coordination and link young people with vocational/educational and social supports.
- The headspace Youth Access Clinician will facilitate community engagement activities and group activities to engage young people and raise mental heath literacy.
About You:
- The role is applicable to suitably experienced and qualified Psychologists, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists or Nurses.
- Eligibility for registration with appropriate registration authority (AHPRA or AASW)
- National Police Check and Department of Human Services Child-Related Employment Screening
