Ace Psychology is launching an exciting venture specialising in children, teenagers and family therapy. Leveraging 30 years of successful experience at Ace Tutoring, we’re expanding our commitment to nurturing young minds by offering comprehensive mental health support.

A part-time role starting in February 2024, with the potential to transition to full-time as your schedule reaches capacity.

What We’re Seeking:
🔍 Child Psychologists and Family Counsellors: Individuals with specialised training and experience in child psychology or family therapy.
🔍Empathetic Experts: Proficient in building rapport and trust with young clients and their families, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
🔍Innovative Thinkers: Creatively adapt therapeutic techniques to suit the unique needs of children and families.
🔍 Team Players: Collaborate seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
🔍Advocates for Youth Mental Health: Passionate about advocating for the mental health and well-being of children and families, breaking down barriers and reducing stigma.
 

About You:
Relevant qualifications in Psychology, Counselling or Mental Health.
❤️ Registration with relevant professional body – e.g., AHPRA, AASW, ACA
❤️ Significant knowledge, skills and experience in the application of evidence based clinical practices and processes appropriate to working with young people and families experiencing complex mental health issues
❤️ Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
❤️ An ability to develop effective working relationships with other service providers
❤️ Ability to work at least one early or late shift per week (start 7:30am or until 7:30pm)
