Youth and Mental Health Support Workers HenderCare

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Disability, Youth and Mental Health Support Worker to provide services to our clients living around Perth.

About the role

In this casual role, you’ll be offered shifts Monday to Sunday. You will be responsible for various activities that may include personal care, social support and transport. Services are also available in the south of the river area for those looking for extra work who are willing to travel. Suburbs can include: Tuart Hill, Maddington, Thornlie, Armadale, Maylands and Kelmscott.

We offer competitive pay rates, paid weekly, and our team of coordinators are available to support you 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round.

Our ideal candidate

You will have:

  • Certificate 3 or 4 or Diploma in Youth Work, Mental Health or equivalent;
  • a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003)
  • a current Provide CPR Certificate (HLTAID001)
  • a current Manual Handling Certificate
  • a current National Police Check
  • a current Working with Children Check
  • experience in providing services to people under the age of 18 years old  with a disability
  • reliable transport
  • COVID-19 Vaccinations
