Our client is an established not-for-profit Psychological Services Provider in New England-North West NSW.
With an impressive range of Counselling, EAP & Health Services, the opportunity for a Psychologist (Provisional or Full Registration), Social Worker or Counsellor to join the Narrabri team as Youth Care Coordinator is on offer.
The Position:
- Provide quality Counselling & Psychology services to young people, aged 12-25 years
- Engage clients who may be experiencing problems with mental health, substance abuse, primary health, work, education, training, family & relationships or other
- Complete face-to-face, telephone or Telehealth counselling to assist clients to achieve goals
- Formulate treatment plans tailored to the needs of individual clients
- Administer a range of psychometric assessments
- Report-writing, case noting & administration, in line with the requirements of your role
- Work collaboratively with internal & external stakeholders, including case conferencing
- Debrief with an experienced regional team & managers
The Perfect Candidate:
- AHPRA-Registered Psychologist – Provisional or full Registration, AASW-Accredited Social Worker or ACA-Accredited Counsellor
- Some experience providing individual & group counselling valuable
- Committed to having a positive impact on individuals & communities across regional NSW
- Comfortable working independently & as part of a team
- Dedicated to ongoing Professional Development, eager to develop new skills & share knowledge with other team members

- Salary packaging up to $15,900/year & entertainment benefits of up to $2650/year (tax free)
