Casual relief Work – Full time hours
Employment Directions is a community-based organisation delivering youth services in the Barossa Valley, Clare Valley, Gawler, York Peninsula, Port Pirie and regions .The position is required in the Mid North region.
We are seeking a dynamic Youth Case Manager who excels in a challenging environment, applying case management services to schools within the Mid North This role is full time week working Monday to Friday each week. This role will be for a minimum of six to eight weeks – could be longer, starting end of term 3.
Travelling to schools will be involved, with a car supplied
The successful candidate will possess;
- An ability to achieve outcomes
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills coupled with strong administrative skills
- A demonstrated understanding of barriers faced by young people
An ability to proactively assist young people to achieve a range of education, life skills and social outcomes, able to handle the unplanned
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent conflict resolution and problem solving skills
- Be able to abide by all policies and procedures
- Achieve KPI’s
Essential requirements
Minimum of Certificate 4 in Youth Work/Youth Justice equivalent
Respond to Abuse and Neglect – RRHAN
First Aid
DCSI clearance.
