We have a team of 170+ employees who support young people and individuals with a disability to increase their independent living skills, form social/community relationships and take part in activities meaningful to them.  
 

About the Role  

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our the MADEC Team as a Youth Coordinator, coordinating service provision for young people in out of home care. 

The right candidate will demonstrate the values of the organisation: person-centred, trust, empowerment, community and excellence. 

The role will oversee up to 3 residential programs, including the provision of supports to young people with complex trauma. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • managing day-to-day operations of residential services to ensure best practice supports and continuity of care.
  • ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, policies and processes.
  • providing support and direction to Team Leaders and frontline workers.  
  • managing day-to-day rostering of residential services. 
  • engaging and developing relationships with stakeholders.
  • participate in an on-call roster rotation. 

 

Essential Criteria

  • Min. 2 years experience working within residential care. 
  • Min. Cert IV in Human Services or related fields.
  • Successful applicants must hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, Working with Children Check and Drivers License.
