Tarneit Senior College is seeking a qualified Youth Counsellor to join our Student Wellbeing Team

Tarneit Senior College is located in a developing area of Wyndham, approximately 25 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. The school is located in close proximity to Tarneit Station which has exceptional local PTV services or short walk/cycle to the school.

The college is experiencing a period of sustained growth for both the suburb and school over the next 5 to 10 years. In 2022 we have approximately 950+ students enrolled. In 2023 the expected enrolment will increase to approx. 1200 students with a long term enrolment projection of up to 1500 students. 

Comprehensive curriculum, pathways and transition programs enable the College to cater for the academic and vocational needs of students. The college offers an extensive and rich VCE program that caters for student preference, and a well-established Applied Learning program. There is an emphasis on the social, emotional, cultural and academic needs of our students in order to develop their full potential.

At Tarneit Senior College, we have a thorough induction process to ensure all staff are familiar with College policies and procedures. All new staff are provided with a mentor from their team. The mentor provides support throughout the year with all aspects of College processes and act as a first point of contact for any questions or concerns.
