Blue Sky Community Services are seeking to employ a professional and values-aligned person to join our supportive and friendly team and to assist us in delivering the Blue Sky Youth and Family Service on the Mid North Coast of NSW. A part-time position (32 hours per week) is available in our Groundworks Youth and Family Hub, located in Coffs Harbour.

About the Role
The Youth Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the in the Blue Sky Youth and Family Service, delivering a range of services and activities aligned to the Targeted Earlier Intervention (TEI) reform that enhances outcomes for children, young people and families, and:
- collaborates and builds partnerships between Sector Staff, other Targeted Earlier Intervention service providers and relevant services to improve outcomes for young people and young people at risk of disengagement with school, families and communities
- assists young people and families to access information, provides advice, supports referrals and facilitates participation in activities that increase a sense of belonging to community
- provides a range of community support and capacity building activities to increase social inclusion and community participation with positive outcomes
- delivers activities and evidence based parenting programs, case management and other family capacity building activities to increase the skills and knowledge of young people and families
- works primarily with young people (8-24) and or/their parents or carers, to build individual and family skills and capacities, strengthen communication and relationships and to enhance the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and families
- is responsible for the Groundworks Youth and Family Hub, where young people and families can obtain information about a range of supports and services, meet other people, be involved in a range of activities and learn new skills
- works closely with the Youth and Family Facilitator.
