Position: Youth Worker

St Mary’s Flexible Learning Centre is a registered and accredited Special Assistance School with small class sizes which employs a multidisciplinary team including a youth worker for each class. We have an emphasis on high quality teaching and learning, wellbeing support, and delivering qualifications that empower young people.

About the Role

We are looking for a Youth Worker to join our team for an immediate start or commencing start ASAP or the 2023 school year. This Full-Time position works collaboratively with our Head of Campus at our Wollongong Flexible Learning Centre.

About You

  • Able to commit to and work within our Operating Principles of Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty.
  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and contribute to the creation of a positive and robust child safeguarding culture
  • NESA registered primary or high school teacher
  • The ability to inspire and engage young people 
  • Be willing to support young people and our team members to reach their potential
  • Willingness to learn and grow as a professional
