YOUTH WORKER – YOUTH ASSISTANT
SCONE
Permanent Part-Time (10 hours per week)

The role:
Council is currently seeking a Youth Assistant  to be based in our Scone Youth Centre to contribute to the day-to-day operations of Council’s Youth Services programs and provide quality experiences for young people.  The role will be responsible for the supervision of young people undertaking and attending youth activities, programs and events organised by Council’s Youth Services Team.

What we need from you:
All applicants should possess a Certificate IV in Youth Work (or equivalent) or be willing to obtain. A current working with children clearance is essential. Ideally you will also have a genuine interest in working with young people and experience in a similar role. The ability to develop a positive rapport with young people and their families is key to your success in this role.
